What are Northern Strike Baits made from?
Northern Strike Baits are hand poured in Northern Ontario using premium plastisol, custom color blends, high-quality glitter, and carefully selected additives. Our baits are designed to provide lifelike action, long-lasting durability, and the performance anglers expect when targeting bass, walleye, pike, and musky.
Where are Northern Strike Baits made?
Northern Strike Baits are proudly hand poured in Northern Ontario, Canada. Every bait is crafted in small batches using premium materials and tested on the lakes and rivers we fish ourselves to ensure consistent quality and fish-catching performance.
Are Northern Strike Baits hand poured?
Yes. At Northern Strike, we don’t mass produce baits. Each bait is hand poured, inspected, and packaged in small batches to deliver the quality, durability, and action anglers expect from a premium Canadian-made soft plastic.
Are your baits salted?
No. Northern Strike Baits are intentionally made without added salt. While salt can increase sink rate, it can also make soft plastics more brittle and significantly reduce their lifespan.
By eliminating salt, our baits remain softer, more durable, and capable of catching multiple fish before needing replacement. Anglers can also fine-tune sink rates using weighted hooks, nail weights, or jig heads to match any fishing condition.
What species are Northern Strike Baits designed for?
Northern Strike Baits are designed and tested for a variety of freshwater game fish commonly found throughout Northern Ontario and across Canada, including:
- Smallmouth Bass
- Largemouth Bass

- Muskellunge (Musky)
Our soft plastics are built to excel in clear lakes, stained rivers, rocky shorelines, weed beds, and deep structure, making them versatile enough for everything from finesse bass fishing to targeting aggressive predators.
Do you offer limited edition colors?
Yes! Northern Strike regularly releases limited edition colors, seasonal blends, and small batch pours throughout the year. These exclusive colors are produced in limited quantities and may only be available for a short time while supplies last.

Each bait is hand poured in small batches in Northern Ontario using premium plastisol, custom color blends, and carefully selected additives to ensure consistent quality, realistic action, and long-lasting durability.
Exclusive Northern Strike Collector Card
Every pack includes a randomly selected Northern Strike Collector Card featuring freshwater species, bait concepts, seasonal artwork, and limited-edition designs.

Absolutely! Northern Strike is more than just a bait company. We offer a growing selection of apparel and accessories designed for anglers who want to represent the brand both on and off the water.

How long will it take to process my order?
Most orders placed before 12:00 PM EST on business days are packed and shipped within 1 business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

How long does shipping take?
Northern Strike ships from Northern Ontario, Canada, and delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
Typical delivery estimates are:
- Ontario: 1–3 business days
- Quebec & Western Canada: 3–7 business days
- Atlantic Canada: 4–8 business days
- United States: 5–10 business days
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package every step of the way.
While most orders arrive within the estimated timeframes, weather conditions, holidays, and carrier delays may occasionally affect delivery times.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Northern Strike is pleased to offer free standard shipping on all Canadian orders over $99 CAD before taxes and discounts.
For orders under $99 CAD, shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.
From time to time, we may also run special promotions offering free shipping with no minimum purchase requirement, so be sure to join the Strike Team and follow us on social media to stay updated on the latest offers.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes! Northern Strike currently ships throughout Canada and the United States.
Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. International customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their country.
As Northern Strike continues to grow, we hope to expand shipping options to additional countries in the future.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes! If your order has not yet been processed or shipped, we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes or cancellations.
Please contact us as soon as possible through our Contact page or email us at [email protected] with your order number and requested changes. Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to make modifications or cancellations.
As a small business, we work hard to pack and ship orders quickly, so reaching out promptly gives us the best chance to help.
What if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?
At Northern Strike, we take pride in carefully packaging every order, but we understand that accidents can happen during shipping.
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or contains the wrong items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected] and include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged package or items (if applicable)
- A brief description of the issue
Once we receive your information, we’ll review the claim and work quickly to provide a replacement, missing item, or other appropriate solution. Our goal is to ensure every customer has a positive experience and gets back on the water as soon as possible.

Do You Accept Returns?
Yes! Northern Strike offers free returns within 30 days of delivery for eligible items.
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. Once we receive and inspect your return, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Please note that custom products, opened soft plastics, collector cards, and clearance items may not be eligible for return.
To start a return, simply contact us at [email protected] with your order number and a brief description of the reason for your return, and we’ll provide further instructions.
Can I Return Apparel or Accessories?
Absolutely! We offer free returns on apparel and accessories within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In their original packaging
- In new, resalable condition
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method.

How Do I Start a Return?

When Will I Receive My Refund?
Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 2–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your refund has been issued.
